Amber in India

Just a few from yesterday's touring with Allyson & Moema. What you don't see here is the amazing monsoon we got stuck in the middle of. We were at the Red Fort, and we were stuck in the great audience hall for about 20 minutes. Then we got tired of waiting for the rain to subside, and we ran back to the car, which took about 10 minutes. We actually stopped running almost as soon as we started since we were so soaked. There was no point in rushing at that point! It was without a doubt the worst storm I have ever been stuck in! Oliver has taken Allyson, Moema and McKay to the Golden Temple in Amritsar today. I talked to McKay on the phone while he was on the train, and he said something about there being rats in their executive class car.... not sure how all that worked out. The lady with Ryan is our housekeeper, Nancy. She is our primary president, and is a gem. She stayed with the little kids while we did Old Delhi, since there was no possibility of taking all of them there. She cooked a great dinner of Shahi Paneer and Chicken Biryani for dinner. All in all, a pretty good day! Amber
